The 11th Annual Global Organisation of Tamil Origin Meet took place on the 4th and 5th of January 2025 in Malaysia, bringing together Tamils from across the globe to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Tamil Nadu. The event served as a vibrant platform for camaraderie and unity, highlighting the shared identity of the Tamil community worldwide.

This year’s event offered a dynamic and enriching experience, featuring a diverse array of programs and sessions. Attendees enjoyed captivating Art and Culture showcases, a Tamil Traditional Fashion Show, and a variety of cultural presentations rooted in Tamil traditions. One of the standout moments was the prestigious "Sadhanai Tamilan Award Ceremony," which honoured individuals of Tamil origin for their exceptional achievements.

The "Global Connect Conference" also proved to be a major highlight, providing valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration, and idea exchange among global leaders, influencers, and professionals. The event attracted esteemed participants, including Members of the Tamil Legislative Assembly, Members of Parliament, State and Union Ministers, Governors, Mayors, renowned educationists, and prominent business leaders from around the world.

With over a thousand attendees from more than 40 countries, the 11th Annual Global Organisation of Tamil Origin Meet was a resounding success, fostering global unity and celebrating the vibrant cultural legacy of the Tamil community.
