Ashwin Gunasekeran, the Chief Executive Officer of the Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB), was honored with the BrandLaureate Brand Leadership Award for Leadership Excellence in the MICE and Hospitality Industries, as well as the Nation Branding Award for MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference, Exhibition) in the category of the BrandLaureate Fast Moving Growing Sustainable Business & Brands Award 2024. The awards ceremony took place last night at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

The dinner gathering celebrated Ashwin's visionary and dynamic leadership, under which PCEB has consistently grown and achieved its objectives, establishing itself as a key player in the industry.His efforts have significantly boosted the state's economic growth by creating business and employment opportunities.

Also in attendance were members of the PCEB board of directors, including Datin Bharathi Suppiah, General Manager of Chief Minister Incorporated, and Dato Khoo Boo Lim, as well as staff members of PCEB.
