The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) has confirmed again that, as final preparations are being put into effect, in particular health and safety, the 2021 edition of the annual DWTC is to be held physically at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) from 16 to 19 May.
ATM is working in close partnership with Dubai World Trade Center's team and Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM), in addition to the Global Covid-19 'Safety Shows' Health & Safety Strategy for the Reed Fair, in order to provide safe, touch-free and seamless experience for everyone.
The show will adhere strictly to and follow the health and safety guidelines laid down by the government of Dubai. The DWTC team works hard to make sure all events are organised safely and have taken a number of measures, including an improved cleaning system, better air traffic and several stations for manual sanitisation.
“Dubai is one of the safest cities in the world to visit with a wide range of precautionary measures in place to ensure the safety of tourists at every stage and touchpoint of their travel journey, from arrival to departure. More than 9 million doses have already been administered in the UAE, which is also a major achievement.",said Danielle Curtis, exhibition director in Middle East.
"Indeed, Dubai’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and its effective citywide management of the pandemic received a strong endorsement from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which gave the city a ‘Safe Travels’ stamp",he added.
This year's show will be dedicated to the topic of a new beginning for travel and tourism, with a focus on the very latest 'Covid' news from all around the world – vaccine rollouts, social and travel constraints as well as the industry's current state and, more importantly, the future. They will also explore the emerging trends and how innovation can advance the industry.
Features this year will include Travel Forward at ATM, which will highlight keynote speakers and world-class technology experts, that will provide industry-leading insights about the latest technologies and trends that will undoubtedly shape the future of travel and tourism.
The programme ATM 2021 includes the World stage, with the Hotel Industry Summit and the Buyer Forums focused on key market sources, such as Saudi Arabia, India and China.
Arabian Travel Week, which will include exhibits, seminars, breakfast briefings, awards, product launches, and networking activities, will feature ATM 2021.
