Tourism Malaysia, in collaboration with 12 industry partners, has launched 36 exclusive wellness tourism packages, offering travelers a unique blend of health, culture, and nature for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Unveiled today, these packages feature a variety of wellness experiences, including traditional Malay massages for muscle relief, tai chi breathing exercises for mental and physical well-being, forest bathing, and hot spring therapy. With prices starting from RM248, the packages are available until 31 December 2026, subject to terms and conditions.
Beyond therapeutic treatments, travelers can engage in cultural activities, explore natural attractions, and visit scenic recreational sites, creating a holistic and immersive escape.
According to Tourism Malaysia, 365 registered spas under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture offer a wide range of treatments, including hot stone massages, traditional scrubs, aromatherapy, postnatal care, hydrotherapy, herbal baths, and Ayurveda therapy. Malaysian massage techniques also incorporate traditional healing practices from diverse local cultures.
Among the most sought-after treatments are Malaysian herbal foot soaks, Qi Gong breathing exercises inspired by Chinese traditions, Indian head massages, and reflexology sessions—all designed to promote relaxation and overall well-being.
