The Indonesia Hotel Public Relations Association (Himpunan Humas Hotel or H3) commemorated its 29th anniversary on December 10, 2024, at the prestigious Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel in Jakarta. The event marked a significant milestone in the association’s journey, showcasing its pivotal role in advancing the hospitality and tourism sectors of Indonesia. Simultaneously, the 2024-2026 Executive Committee was inaugurated, bringing new energy and leadership to the organization.

Celebrating Nearly Three Decades of Excellence

H3 Indonesia’s 29th-anniversary thanksgiving event was graced by an impressive lineup of stakeholders, reflecting the association’s strong reputation and influence. Attendees included the founders of H3 Indonesia, representatives from the National Board of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), IHGMA Jakarta, Jakarta Hotel Association (JHA), and ASEAN PR Network. Esteemed organizations like PERHUMAS, Rumah Anyo (a foundation supporting children with cancer), Swiss German University, and the Indonesian Tourism Media Community were also present. Notably, the H3 Indonesia Bogor Regional Chapter joined the celebrations alongside various members and partners of the association.

The anniversary celebration also provided a platform for H3 Indonesia to reaffirm its commitment to Indonesia’s tourism sector. Through its initiatives, the association has been instrumental in elevating the standards of public relations in the hospitality industry, thereby contributing to the nation’s broader tourism goals.

Introducing the 2024-2026 Executive Committee

The highlight of the event was the inauguration of the 2024-2026 Executive Committee, a team of professionals entrusted with steering H3 Indonesia towards continued success. The new leadership team, appointed based on the Decree of H3 Indonesia’s Board of Trustees No.002/PEMBINA-H3/XII/2024, includes:

  • Vice Chairperson for Public Relations & Inter-Institutional Collaboration: Chrisna Rianti (Accor Group)
    • Public Relations (Media Relations, Digital Communications): Fia Dwi Friyandari (InterContinental Jakarta Pondok Indah)
    • Inter-Institutional Collaboration: M. Rizki Sutrisna (GranDhika Indonesia)
  • Vice Chairperson for Membership, Training & Development: Ari Eka Putri (Intiwhiz International)
    • Membership: Tri Andriani Lestari (Tari) (JS Luwansa)

Yulia Maria, the Chairperson for the 2024-2026 period, expressed her gratitude and vision during her acceptance speech. “This mandate is a significant responsibility that I will carry out wholeheartedly, continuing the excellent collaboration we have built over the years. I believe that our success is not driven by one individual alone but is the result of collaboration, support, and shared spirit among all H3 members,” she remarked.

Yulia emphasized the importance of synergy and innovation in achieving the association’s goals. She invited all members to work together to create a positive impact on Indonesia’s hospitality industry and strengthen the nation’s position as a leading global tourism destination.

Since its inception on November 27, 1995, by visionaries Sri Sekartadji, Martaningsih Agung Chandra, and Nuraini Zaini, the association has consistently fostered collaboration, learning, and excellence in public relations. Supported by the National Board of PHRI and the late Nyoman Pendit, H3 has played a vital role in uniting professionals and enhancing the field of public relations in Indonesia’s tourism sector.
