The Philippines is set to host the prestigious ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026, showcasing its leadership and commitment to fostering regional tourism and collaboration.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) hosts an annual Tourism Forum that serves as a significant event for regional collaboration in the tourism sector.

At the conclusion of the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2025, held in Malaysia, the Philippines officially accepted the responsibility of hosting the 2026 edition. The formal handover took place at the Johor International Convention Center, where Philippines Tourism Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco received the hosting duties from Malaysia’s Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Dato Sri Tiong King Sing.

As the 2026 host, the Philippines will organize several key events, including preparatory activities in Manila and Boracay, various ASEAN meetings, and the TRAVEX trade show, which brings together tourism stakeholders from across the region.
