Winning Moves, under license from Hasbro, a leading toy and game company, launched the official MONOPOLY: Penang Edition in collaboration with Penang Global Tourism at an exciting event today at Queensbay Mall.

MONOPOLY: Penang Edition (available in stores and online starting today) features an exciting twist to the classic game by replacing the iconic locations with landmarks and locations around Penang, which was officially unveiled today by Mr. Monopoly himself.

YB Wong Hon Wai at Penang State EXCO for Tourism and Creative Economy (PETACE) says, "Penang's rich history, delectable cuisine, and breathtaking landscapes has long been a favourite destination amongst visitors from near and far.
Now with MONOPOLY: Penang Edition, it will be the first MONOPOLY game created in Malaysia that focuses on a particular region of the country. We aim to encapsulate the essence of this remarkable state within the confines of the iconic family board game”.

Visit some of Penang's attractions, such as Batu Ferringhi, Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill. 
Once you've seen the sites, don't forget to journey around the board and visit some of Penang's shopping malls - Queensbay Mall, Design Village Outlet Mall, Sunway Carnival Mall and Gurney Plaza! Round off your turn with a visit to Fort Cornwallis and Komtar, which is featured as one of the game's most expensive properties.
