KUALA LUMPUR:

Highlighting Taiwan's dynamic cultural charms and tourism potential, the Salam Taiwan booths and the Taiwan Tourism pavilion at the three-day Matta Fair recently drew a sizable crowd.

As part of its commitment to advancing travel that respects Islamic principles, Salam Taiwan aims to provide a welcoming environment where all visitors can experience "pematah hati," or travel to new places.

This goal is shown in Nabila Razali, Intan Serah, and Safwan Nazri's engagement as ambassadors at the Matta Fair.

"In addition to promoting travel, the partnership between these powerful individuals and the Taiwanese tourist industry seeks to enhance cultural interchange between Malaysia and Taiwan.

"The Matta Fair served as an ideal platform for this initiative, allowing visitors to learn more about what makes Taiwan a must-visit destination for Malaysian travellers," it stated.

Actress and singer Nabila talked about her time spent recording the "Jom Taiwan" video, which highlights the sights and activities Taiwan has to offer.

Many in the audience were moved by her enthusiasm for Taiwanese hospitality and culture and encouraged to visit the stunning island.

Intan Serah, the first female football player in Malaysia, engaged with supporters by discussing her personal experiences in acting and sports and highlighting the way that travel can widen one's viewpoint.

Her captivating demeanour and sympathetic narrative inspired the audience to use travel as a means of discovering not only Taiwan but also their potential.

Safwan Nazri's charisma and charm elevated the occasion.

Safwan, well-known for his captivating social media posts, engaged guests and admirers by talking about his travels to Taiwan.

He emphasized the nation's rich cultural legacy, varied landscapes, and delicious cuisine, which includes regional specialities.

"With such high-profile endorsements from beloved public figures, it is clear that interest in Taiwanese tourism is set to grow significantly leading up to Visit Taiwan Year 2025," it stated.
