Under the 'Pushing Selangor Dulu' campaign, Tourism Selangor invites Sarawakians to set out on an enthralling tour and discover the state's beautiful landscapes.

Azrul Shah Mohamad, chief executive officer of Tourism Selangor, stated that Selangor, which is renowned for its varied attractions and rich cultural tapestry, is looking forward to welcoming Sarawakians to its alluring domain.

"We extend an invitation to Sarawakian Malaysians to experience Selangor's beauty and distinctiveness. Our aim with 'Pushing Selangor Dulu' is to make unforgettable experiences for everyone who visits," he stated.

Azrul made this statement to me on Saturday night during a networking dinner organized by Tourism Selangor as a part of the Familiarization Trip program for Tourism Malaysia Sarawak at the Premiere Hotel in Klang.

The program, which was started as a post-pandemic strategy, has already won over 4.2 million tourists in its first eight months.

"Sarawakians can now take part in this fascinating exploration. Sarawakians can immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of Selangor's nine districts beginning in Klang, he said.

"We want Selangor to be the first choice for our Sarawakian friends when they are arranging their vacations."

Azrul continued by saying that Selangor offers a variety of experiences, from energetic shopping centers to exhilarating aquatic theme parks.

"We are aware that some Sarawakians may miss the food from their hometowns. To make you feel at home, we have restaurants that provide Sarawakian cuisine," he said.

Azrul also emphasized Selangor's great connectivity, citing the state's several airports, notably KLIA and KLIA 2, and said that the relationship between Selangor and Sarawak has a long history and is well-documented.

He remarked, "We have cherished ties with visitors from Sarawak who frequently find solace in Selangor's shopping centers and distinctive attractions.

"Explore Selangor's beauty, engage in a shopping extravaganza, take advantage of our top-notch theme parks, and savor our well-known hospitality. Selangor enthusiastically looks forward to your arrival," he continued.
