The Visit Malaysia Year 2024 (VMY 2024) will be ushered in with a Tourism Sports and Recreation Month-themed "Let's Fit Together." Throughout May 2024, a variety of attractions, including traditional sports, will be on offer.

May 2024's Tourism Month, according to Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh, will act as a draw to increase travel to the region.

Every month will have a theme in line with VMY 2024, and when Tourism Sports Month arrives, we'll plan a variety of events to draw both domestic and foreign visitors to the state.

To provide a carnival atmosphere for the visiting tourists, traditional sports will also be a part of the Month of Tourism Sports program. This will transform Melaka into a travel destination complete with attractions of its own,” he declared following his attendance at and participation in today's Melaka Football Association Congress (MAFA) in Banda Hilir.

He continued by saying that football, netball, and other thrilling sports are included in the chosen activities.
