On March 7, 2022, TripChat Global, established by Nicole Quinlan of Louisiana and Ali Landry, actress, and former Miss USA, introduced an imaginative travel mobile app, the first in the tourism sector to connect users directly to the National Human Trafficking Hotline. The app is a game-changing disruptor in the travel/marketing industry, allowing firms to advertise themselves cost-effectively and efficiently.
TripChat offers geo-fencing-triggered audio billboards, as well as curated audio stories and visuals about the culture, history, business, and attractions that surround users while they travel.
"Consumers today rely extensively on technology to navigate their lives," CEO Quinlan noted, "creating a desire for creative solutions that provide customer confidence."
During a private screening of the film "Sound of Freedom," a thrilling biographical action drama detailing Timothy Ballard's heroic human trafficking rescue missions, the company's founders elected to launch the app as a platform to raise awareness about Human Trafficking Prevention. He started Operation Underground Rescue (O.U.R.) after serving as an agent with the United States Department of Homeland Security.
"We congratulate TripChat's founders on their work and technology," Ballard stated.
"Human trafficking is one of the world's most rapidly expanding illicit enterprises. To put an end to it, we need people like these to come up and use their skills to help put an end to this horrifying plague. This is a fantastic tool that will have a significant influence on the battle against human trafficking and exploitation "he stated
"I'm excited to announce our cooperation with TripChat, as well as the launch of the Louisiana Businesses Against Trafficking program, which will assist Louisiana business owners in becoming the first line of defense against human trafficking," said Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin.
Pop-A-Lock is the national sponsor. Don Marks, TripChat's CEO, said he supports the app's development and was happy to sponsor it because of their distinctive audio billboards and safety focus. Pop-A-Lock has offered free emergency unlocking services to over 350,000 children since its beginning in the early 1990s.
"Users can now connect to the National Human Trafficking Hotline and Pop-A-Locks National dispatch center with just one click of a button," Quinlan stated.
By making it simple to report any suspected human trafficking activity or get emergency roadside and unlocking assistance, the TripChat creators hope to build a network of heroes.
